Full Stack Development Certification

A developer assembling the layers of an application

The current NextSkillEdge page describes a six-month, 100% online Full Stack Development Certification designed around three completed applications.

It says no previous coding experience is required and estimates a commitment of around 15 hours a week.

The public FAQ says NextSkillEdge issues the certificate.

CareerSkale must confirm the legal issuer, current offer and payment terms before promoting enrolment.

Published curriculum

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript and responsive design.

Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and database design.

The page names a banking system, student portal and React/MongoDB application as the three portfolio projects.

The final specification should clarify whether every learner builds all three from scratch, which hosting or cloud services are included, how code originality is checked and which project must pass for certification.

What completion should evidence

A provider certificate can show that the learner met NextSkillEdge's completion standard. The public page should state that standard, including attendance, assessments, project review, resits and plagiarism rules.

It should not imply a university degree, vendor certification or guaranteed professional competence. React, Java and MongoDB are tool names; the evidence is the learner's assessed work.

Portfolio and intellectual property

Before enrolment, ask:

  • whether repositories can be public;
  • who owns starter code and learner code;
  • whether the datasets and project briefs may be reused;
  • how credentials or secrets are protected;
  • whether deployed applications incur extra hosting costs; and
  • how long platform and repository access continues after completion.

Entry and workload

No prior coding is presented as necessary, but a 15-hour weekly commitment is substantial. A beginner should test whether that time is realistic and whether the provider supplies live debugging support, code review and structured feedback.

The programme should not be sold as a job guarantee. It can prepare portfolio evidence relevant to junior development roles, but hiring depends on the learner's demonstrated ability and the employer's process.

Price, cancellation and refunds

CareerSkale must confirm total price, tax, deposit, instalments, software/hosting charges, resit costs, service start and refund responsibility. The final terms should address provider cancellation, missed cohorts and access loss.

CareerSkale may receive payment from a partner institution when a student enrols. If CareerSkale collects payment, the receipt and legal pages must explain its purpose and refund route.

Before paying, read the approved Refund and Cancellation Policy and Terms and Conditions.

The enquiry and payment routes must remain disabled until the provider grid is complete.
