About CareerSkale

A confident independent education adviser

CareerSkale helps working professionals compare online doctoral, executive, master's and professional programmes, work out what they are eligible for, and prepare an application.

We are an admissions-support company. We are not a university and we are not based in the United Kingdom. The qualification you eventually receive is awarded by the institution named in your written offer, not by us.

That distinction should be clear to you before you share documents, choose an institution or make any payment.

This page explains what we do, what we do not do, and how the money works.

What we do for applicants

Most people who contact us are trying to make a study decision alongside an established career, often after several years away from formal education. The practical difficulty is rarely ambition. It is working out which routes are genuinely open, what each one actually requires, and whether the qualification will do the job you need it to do.

We can help you:

  • organise your academic and professional background into the evidence an application needs;
  • tell apart earned doctorates, professional doctorates, master's routes and certificates;
  • compare published entry requirements, delivery, duration, cost and recognition side by side;
  • find the missing documents or unresolved offer terms before they become a problem;
  • prepare an application against the institution's current instructions; and
  • coordinate with the institution through the stage we have agreed with you.

An admissions intermediary can help you ask better questions and submit a complete application. It cannot replace the awarding institution or change the legal nature of a qualification.

What stays with you, and what stays with the institution

What stays with you

You remain responsible for the truth and authorship of everything submitted in your name — your personal statement, research proposal, CV, declarations and referee choices.

We sit between those two things, and nowhere else.

The institutions we work with

CareerSkale works with six institutions to support applications. A working relationship is a commercial fact about us. It is not an accreditation claim about them, and it is not evidence that any qualification is recognised.

One of those relationships is publicly verifiable: Dunster Business School lists CareerSkale as a Validated Admission Partner (Bronze). For the other five, the institution does not publish a listing that names CareerSkale, so you have our word for it and nothing more. We would rather tell you that than imply otherwise.

Separately from the relationship question, we checked what each institution says about its own accreditation and whether the bodies named appear on the registers used to verify higher education providers in the relevant country. Our partner institution verification page sets out every result, including the ones that do not favour us. It also explains why a company registration, private membership, candidate status, licence or licensing exemption should not be read as recognised degree-awarding authority.

How we are paid

CareerSkale may receive payment from a partner institution when a student enrols.

Some of our services may carry a fee paid directly by you. Where that applies, we will tell you the service and the amount before you commit to anything.

For some institutions we may collect a programme fee from you and remit an agreed amount to the institution. Before you pay anything, you should have written information identifying the legal payee, the purpose, the amount and currency, any taxes or processing charges, the cancellation terms, the remittance position and who is responsible for a refund. If you have been told something material in a call or a message, ask for it in writing.

We do not publish commission percentages or partner-by-partner commercial terms.

We also do not claim that our payment arrangements are uniform across institutions, or that they have no bearing on what we recommend. You should weigh our suggestions with that in mind. How CareerSkale works and is paid sets out the stages and the money in more detail.

What we do not claim

We are not a university, college, accreditor or government body. We do not award qualifications or control academic standards.

We do not claim that:

  • a commercial relationship with an institution proves that institution is recognised;
  • every programme an institution publishes is available through us;
  • admission, funding, a visa, graduation or employment is guaranteed;
  • one recognition result means every employer, regulator or university will accept an award; or
  • an honorary doctorate is equivalent to an earned doctorate.

We do not publish student totals, staff counts or success rates. We would need auditable records supporting an exact definition, period and calculation before we put a number like that in front of you, and we do not have them.

How we handle facts on this site

Institution facts, fees, entry rules and recognition results change.

Our editorial standards explain how we source, review and correct what is published here.
