It says American Management University confers the degree and NextSkillEdge delivers the day-to-day classes, assignments and tool training.

What the programme covers
NextSkillEdge presents the route as a combination of management foundations, analytics and applied Generative AI. The current public curriculum includes:
- leadership, organisational behaviour and executive communication;
- marketing, finance, operations and strategic management;
- Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau and Looker Studio;
- data analysis, visualisation and business intelligence;
- Generative AI assistants and prompt engineering;
- no-code automation platforms; and
- a capstone or applied business project.
The public page says no coding background is required. That should not be converted into a universal admission promise: applicants still need the current academic and experience rules in writing.
Awarder and recognition boundary
American Management University is the named awarder on the NextSkillEdge page. CareerSkale does not award the qualification. NextSkillEdge is described as the delivery organisation.
The current programme page also makes accreditation and membership claims. CareerSkale's institution research did not establish recognised institutional accreditation for American Management University. Private accreditation, professional-body recognition, educational membership and a California exemption are not interchangeable with recognised institutional accreditation or government degree-awarding status.
Before relying on the credential, obtain:
- the exact AMU legal entity and jurisdiction on the offer;
- the programme approval and award title;
- the recognition or accreditation evidence for that exact entity and programme;
- the purpose for which the applicant needs the award; and
- written confirmation from any employer, regulator or later university where acceptance is critical.
Delivery questions to answer before enrolment
“100% online” should be unpacked. Ask for the weekly timetable, time zone, minimum attendance, recording access, assessment method, resit rules, learning platform, academic contact, capstone supervision and complaints route.
The page promotes more than 20 tools, but tool logos are not learning outcomes. The provider should state which tools are taught, assessed, required for the capstone and included in the fee.
Cost and refund questions
Do not pay against an oral quote. The written fee schedule should identify:
- total tuition and currency;
- taxes, gateway charges and local GST where applicable;
- deposit or seat-booking amount;
- instalment dates;
- the legal payee shown on the invoice;
- what CareerSkale collects or remits;
- cancellation windows and deductions;
- responsibility if a class or intake is cancelled; and
- the party that decides and pays a refund.
CareerSkale may receive payment from a partner institution when a student enrols. If CareerSkale collects an applicant payment, the final legal documents must explain the purpose, remittance and refund responsibility.
Who may find it relevant
The published curriculum is aimed at managers and professionals who want to use analytics and AI in decision-making rather than train as software engineers. A suitable profile still depends on the institution's written entry rules and whether the award's recognition meets the applicant's intended use.
